A lively little bird, with body length (from tip of beak to tip of tail) of about 10-11 cm. The upper side of the body covered with feathers greenish or yellowish green (olive green), whereas the bottom side varies slightly depending race, except the neck and chest are bright yellow. Rounded wings and strong legs.
Names ("glasses", white-eye) refers to the circle of a small plume of white around her eyes. Clan name derived from the Greek word Zosterops, which means "belt eye". Appearance of its members are very "normal", there is no striking feature, except for a line of circles around the eyes. Circular wings and has a strong leg. Gray coat color is usually green, but there are species that have fur neck and belly are white or yellow.
